Friday, October 24, 2025, CETEAS Srl, the industrial host institution of the PANDORAS project, will celebrate its 45th anniversary with a special event titled “Our First 45 Years: From Forklifts… to Automation! The Evolution Continues”. The celebration will take place at CETEAS headquarters in Montesilvano (Pescara), starting at 2:30 p.m.
The event will be an opportunity to look back at more than four decades of innovation in automation and logistics, while also exploring the future role of Artificial Intelligence in supporting people, businesses, and sustainable industrial growth.
Among the keynote speakers:
- Dr. Giancarlo Orsini, science communicator, who will guide participants through global trends in automation and AI with his interactive show “MEGATREND AI”;
- Prof. Luca Persia, Director of the Centre for Transport and Logistics (CTL) at Sapienza University of Rome and Principal Investigator of PANDORAS, who will present an overview of logistics research and innovation in Italy, including insights from PANDORAS and related projects;
- Dr. Luca Telese, journalist and TV host (La7 – In Onda), who will give a contribution in the specific workshop dealing with the future of logistics.
The event will also feature entrepreneurial testimonies and live technology demonstrations, showcasing CETEAS latest automation systems — from autonomous vehicles and advanced shuttles to smart warehouse safety devices.
A guided factory tour and an evening networking moment with live music will close the day, celebrating the company’s continued journey between tradition and innovation.
